Welcome to the Museum Independent Security Union Website!  We are the security guards of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.  We are the frontline ambassadors and protectors of the Museum.  We are students, artists, musicians, writers, teachers, police, and veterans.  We are family people
with children and grandchildren.  We are of all colors and ethnicities. We are the first, and until recently, the only labor union at the Museum. We work at the Museum because art matters to us.
